Environmental Sustainability
By blending shredded rail ties and tires in with current coal production, we are able to raise the British Thermal Unit (BTU) of the power plant facility. Tires can account for a 25-50% higher burn compared to coal. This allows for a cleaner burn and an opportunity to recycle products.
